We've been married for over 25 years. Our five kids range in age from 41 to 56, our nine grandkids from 9 to 30, and our eight great-grandkids from 4 months to 8 years. We moved from Colorado to our "retirement" home in Green Valley, AZ in the Summer of 2000. God had other plans for us, however, and we moved back to Wyoming (Cheyenne) in October 2005. We live just outside of town on 5 acres, where we are still learning to co-exist with the wind, tumbleweeds, voles, ground squirrels and rabbits. We busy ourselves with church, family and traveling. |

In 2000 I retired from U S WEST (subsequently known as Qwest, and now CenturyLink), where I worked for over 27 years. I'm a Wyoming native (born in Laramie, raised in Sheridan), but I lived in Colorado for almost 19 years before retiring to southern Arizona in July, 2000. In October 2005 we returned to Wyoming; we now live in Cheyenne. I have a daughter and a son from a previous marriage. I'm a ham radio operator (WA7GYQ); I was licensed in 1967, but I'm presently inactive. I graduated from Sheridan High School in 1968, Sheridan College in 1970, and the The University of Wyoming in 1972, with a BS in Electrical Engineering from UW's College of Engineering; I also have an MBA from the University of Colorado (1990). Fly fishing is a favorite hobby, but I spend far too little time at it right now. Hunting, shooting sports, personal computers and ham radio are my other pastimes.
In 2004 I began my "second career" as a self-employed computer solutions consultant. I did most anything -- from Website development and maintenance, to engineering/management consulting, to computer hardware and software consulting. I also worked as a contractor for an energy industry engineering firm. I retired a second time at the end of 2014, but I never say never to working again. |

I, too, am retired from U S WEST (1997). In August, 1999 I graduated from Arapahoe Community College, in Littleton, CO with an A.S. degree in Travel and Hospitality Management. I also earned a certificate in travel and tourism from ACC in May, 1999. For several years I was an independent kitchen consultant for The Pampered Chef®. I was born in Lincoln, NE and raised in Hawarden, IA, Boulder, CO and Cheyenne, WY. I graduated from Cheyenne Central High School in 1961. I lived in the Denver area for 15 years before moving to Arizona in July, 2000. I have three daughters from a previous marriage. Fishing, needlework (needlepoint, counted cross stitch, crocheting, knitting), crafts and playing cards are my favorite hobbies. I am active in PEO, where I have been a member for over 50 years. |

Kara and Merle live in Cheyenne, WY; they have three girls. Kara is a music teacher. Merle is transportation administrator for Laramie County School District #1.
Jennifer and John live in Missouri where John, retired from the Navy, works in a civilian position at Fort Leonard Wood. Jen is very involved with their church, Stonebrooke Center. They have 2 sons and a daughter. Briana and Chris live in Cheyenne, WY. Chris works in information technologies for Microsoft. They have 2 daughters. Their son passed away in January 2018 at age 20. Nicole lives in Sheridan, WY. She is a licensed clinical social worker at the VA hospital there. She has a daughter. Jeremy runs the service department at EMI Automotive Services in Littleton, CO; he also does home remodeling, computer network installation and management, and most anything else people ask him to do. |

We're blessed with nine grandkids; each of them brings us tremendous joy, and collectively they help keep us young!:
Rachel lives with her husband Nolan in Cheyenne; they have blessed us with four great-grandchildren. Courtney lives with her husband NE. She works in the ER at a hospital, and Adam is stationed at Offut AFB. They share custody of Adam's two daughters from a previous marriage. Katie is an accomplished artist, and is relocating to TX this summer. Wyatt has been in the Air Force for over 6 years. He is currently stationed in AZ with his wife, Morgan, and their 4-month old son. Emily is a registered nurse, working in a hospital telemetry unit in MO. She is engaged to Caleb and has a son. Mitchell has been in the Air Force for over three yeasr. He is stationed in NV, where he and his wife Paige reside. Shannon a graduate in English and French from the University of Northern Colorado, lives in Cheyenne. Logan passed away in January 2018. Reagan lives in Cheyenne where she will be sophomore in high school this fall. Sophie lives in Sheridan, WY where she attends elementary school. |
